Guest Speaker: Thomas Haffner, LMFT Thomas Haffner was raised by loving parents alongside his five siblings in a west-side suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. A graduate of Saint Xavier High School in 1982, Thomas began his career in aviation as a corporate pilot and flight instructor.
After meeting his wife, Susan, he moved to Louisville, Kentucky, where she was attending school—and persuaded her to marry him! Feeling a call to ministry, Thomas transitioned careers and became a Marriage and Family Therapist, driven by a desire to address the growing challenges faced by marriages and families.
Thomas earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Louisville in 2001 and completed his graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at The Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 2004. After years of agency work, he has spent most of his career in private practice, helping individuals and couples strengthen their relationships.
Thomas and Susan are proud parents of twins, Lilyana and Lucas, and the family attends The Shrine of Saint Martin of Tours in downtown Louisville.
