Discipline Policy:
The fourth grade provides rewards for those students who show a good sense of responsibility both in their work and their behavior. Weekly, a fourth grader is given a sticker on a reward bulletin board if there are no missing assignments or behavior forms for that week. Rewards are given for consistent positive behavior and no missing assignments. Rewards include stickers, homework rewards, spirit days, free time, special treats and breakfast club participation.
Students needing intervention with behavior are given several infractions before detentions are earned. Communication is made to parents prior to students earning detentions by PeaceBuilder Peace Treaties and assignment books.
